Hmm, I guess now that I pretty much understand the formats and have a class set up to store the geometry, I could without too much difficulty write something to convert .SUF to .OBJ...
BTW, any feedback - does it actually work for anyone's models? I only tested it on a cube...
Oh, one thing I forgot to mention - you have to have the materials in your .OBJ file set to valid DoGA attribute names (see the list in the DoGA part converter), otherwise you just get all black for that material... hey, at least DoGA's smart enough to do that and not just crash
