Sorry, I lost the thread, which was why I didnt respond - now I am using this favourite-thread feature to stay informed...
It was indeed a dominion kill, although I conquered Man's captial castle a turn before.
Nevertheless, the kill was simply due to two things. First I got a little help from a friend and second Man's starting position was very unfortunate, but it also caused quite some casualties to my army, since at the same time of my main assault, Man easily recaptured the one adjacent province (which I had left undefended), thus causing a swift Death to all my precious routing Elephants...
