When you start Starfury, instead of loading the game from the menu that pops up, click on Options. There is an option to set the resolution, and one of them is windowed mode.

Bear in mind that it doesn't work all the time...
Even with the most up-to-date drives. It won't on my computer, giving me an error message. I'm using a Radeon 7500 128.
