Bah, humbug,.. one man's starbase is another man's methane extractor.
But seriously, I often see different things when I look at pics of various ships. Some ship sections would make good cargo pod components, some engines make good generators, some hulls look like all they need is a hand grip to turn it into a troop weapon, etc..
It's all just a matter of using a little immagination. I hope we find some willing and good artists to help with the components.
