I'm sure my missus won't mind me saying that she had a similar experience a while back. A fellow member of staff was following her around, trying to trap her in cupBoards and so on. She went through the (very stressful) complaint procedures, but never really received the support of the employers, and in the end she just left. The job just wasn't worth the hassle. As far as I know the sleaze is still working there (we did point out that he might be a threat to the patients, but it seems no-one wanted to cause a fuss) but his record has been blemished and female colleagues have been warned. He will at least have to be a little more careful in pursuing his next victim.
If he had ever actually laid hands on her, he would have been found floating face-down the next day.

Yeah, lots of times that is what happens. The female has to leave. It's a sad comment on life. What's weird is that it's understandable that men would just discard the idea of that kind of harassment (well, because there are too many men who think that kind of thing is OK) but, I'm surprised at the number of women who feel the same way. You would think they would feel some sort of affinity with their sex. Go figure.
