Ruatha, due to the prevailing air currents, Scandinavian countries (If I remember correctly) get a bit warmer weather than similar latitudes in Canada. Your 59 North is probably equal to my 54 North. Do you get temperatures down to at least -40 degrees Celcius every year, at least once? That should be a fairly accurate guage of relative temperatures
