Is there a way to assign a new Range-Weapon with a missle grafic?

For example if i take the fire drake range"weapon", change it and then assign it to a new unit there isn´t any grafic at all.But even if it would work that wouldn´t help much, because then the fire drakes attack would change too... :/

So i hope there is a solution for this problem.
