Water, water, water.
Occasionally milk, occasionally fruit juice. But frankly I drink lots of water. I hate anything carbonated. Carbonation burns your nose and throat and the sugar/phosphorus content of "soft drinks" actually makes you thirstier. Distilled liquors are even worse than carbonated 'beers', though it's the alchohol rather than the carbonation that burns your throat
-- and I don't think those do much for your thirst either. Besides, how can you concentrate on managing your empire if you're getting intoxicated?
It's funny, I'm not against alchohol 'on principle' as it were. I just find almost any alchoholic drink revolting. About the only thing alchoholic that I can stand are light, sweet wines. NOT champagne, carbonation again...
