Thats what I thought Imperator Fyron. I'll figure out a workaround. Nice to know SEV will have some math capabilities. Nice for replayability and realism nuts like me.
I got the map analyser in the same folder as my work although I've not used it yet as I was just experimenting with those files for now. (I'll get there shortly) I'm still re-writing the SectType along with the BMP images. There's plenty of source material on the web and linked to various 3D starmap websites to give the planets.bmp and the p0XXX-series a serious rework. I have also found a freeware program (CHview) that takes the Hipparcos satellite star survay data and creates a 3d star map out to about 250 light yrs. It also allows scalable gridding so that I can import the sceen images into my paintshop program, use the negative image tool then print out a perfect map to use as reference in the SEIV map editor, already scaled to the grids correctly. Works neat...
