You won't be able to get any straight answers from them, though. No street address, no legit business references. The point of the scam is to find suckers like your 'friend' who will feel the itch of unreasoning greed and send them money in the hopes of getting more money. Actually sending them money and then tracing the transaction is probably the only way you'd find them. That should be left to law agencies, though.
