Hell with Brain Play, you could theoretically be playing even while your working, driving, sleeping, etc. You go to bed at night, and set the game to Dream Mode, and this way you can play the game AS the actuall emperor. When your awake, you play it under Awake mode, or Work mode, in which case you give up certain aspects of the game to Minister or automatic control and you just keep an over watch on whats going down.

Then for evening play, or all weekend play, you set the game to Active Mode and you play like in Dream mode, but your awake and not in an REM state.

I would love to beable to load the dream game of my choice and head the pillow knowing that when I fall asleep, I will be sleeping but dreaming that I am in another reality. Games like Tribes, SEIV, others would take on a real feel and you would be flying through the air shooting flag runners, or standing in the centeral hall debating the validity of the war against the EEE. And since dreams are without a concept of time, you could literally run a thousands of turns before you wake up.

If this ever becomes a reality, vitural reality will become the crack cocain of that time. Society as we know it would fall into chaos, and twisted mentally ill hackers would try and hack into peoples minds and control them like some queen borg.

(Queen being the dilibrate term for these pimple faced virgins.)
