A few turns ago the Space Vikings made contact with another race. Being the friendly guy that I am, I proposed a treaty of trade and research right away and wrote some nice role playing text: "Greetings from the Space Vikings... (blahblahblah)". Two turns later I got the answer:"Now is not the time for alliances." I thought that was pretty rude. At least that player could have written some more personal text. So I checked out who it was, only to find out it was one of the AI races... (Duh !)
