The answer is no, but what you can do instead is place them (and possbily have them wait) so that they arrive at the same time, or after, other units arrive at the same place.

E.g., a few flanking groups in the usual position, then the super-fast hero in the far rear corner on the same side, scripted to wait a turn or two (which can be good anyway if you can bless or buff him somehow).
