Hey, hey! I hope no one thinks that _I_ am calling for a nerf to Armageddon. I am actually enjoying this particular game a lot. And we have been planning strategies based around Armageddon ever since Tuna cast the first one :-)

As for scouts, I assume that they would die much faster than black servants. Judging from the way my guys die, the damage is actual, phisical damage. I cannot tell whether there is a magic resistance check, but high hps definitely help. On the other hand, with all the dying that's going on, some bugs pop out at an alarming rate. I already have quite a few wolves with demilich/Gygda/wraith/etc... paths.

Oh, and before you guys jump me, rememember - C'tis has GoH, and is very likely to be using black servants as well.
