Um...well, your centaurs are pretty amazing, too. I think they are worth building. But, castles are very important, too. This is what people complain about in this game, armies don't always get the job done. Although, I'm guessing Jurri would love to have an army, if given the option.
He's just spending his cash on other things.
This whole game was an attempt to make armies worthwhile. I think it's pretty much succeeded: It's not by accident that the last three survivors are strong early game factions: Ulm, Pangea, and Jotunheim. All the strong late game wussy magic factions died off, hehe. Your army, for example, was just about unstoppable earlier in the game. Now it's still good, but stoppable.
And, oh, Jurri--we are at war as of now. I'm pretty sure Jeffr and I can stop you together.
