The "grey" in my name is not that of my hair color or the way i feel. it is a reflection of how I view life. There are very few areas I see as "black and white" 'right or wrong". There is always some grey area in between.

An amorpheus cloud maybe?
Or maybe a color-fill from one corner to the other, from silver to black so that most of the square would be shades of gray?
I used something like that for "Unicus the God of Mediation" (Shadowdale MUD). His robes were white at one foot and black at the other and gradually climbed in a blend to a silvery-grey at the neck.
