Roleplaying
Rp+++ I have worked out all the details of my roleplay race's biology, psychology, technology, history, sociology and cartography. All this is recorded on my roleplaying website, which I update every time a major event happens in one of my games.
Rp++ I always play the same race with a commisioned or home made race style. I stay in character throughout.
RP+ I sometimes get into character during multiplayer games, but it's no big deal.
Rp I've never tried roleplaying, but one day I might.
Rp- C'mon, it's just a game.
Rp-- Roleplayers are sad and embarrassing.

Your opinion on TCP/IP:
Tcp+++ Not satisfied with the current multiplayer system, I helped to pioneer Play by Web.
Tcp++ I want TCP/IP play and I'm going to scweam and scweam until I get it!
Tcp+ TCP/IP would be neat. I dream of the day I can play tactical combat over the net.
Tcp If it was there I'd use it, but I'm quite happy with PBEM and PBW for now.
Tcp- What's all the fuss? MM's time would be better spent on other things.
Tcp-- TCP/IP heralds the death of strategy. If you want a realtime clickfest, go buy C&C or Quake or something.

Frequency: (Time spent playing.)
Fq+++ At any given time I will have several multiplayers going on, a few AI test games and maybe a game against the AI when I need a break. I read every post on 4 differnet forums. Sleep deprivation is starting to make me look like a Phong.
Fq++ I spend too long playing SE4. I have several games going on and I keep up to date with the forums at work and during turn generation.
Fq+ My spouse says I play SE4 too much. My boss says I read the forums too much.
Fq I play quite a bit of SE4, but I play other games as well.
Fq- I play it now and again, but not as much as other games.
Fq-- I hardly ever play SE4 these days.

Fq% I haven't played the game in months, because I spend my entire life modding it.

Modding:
M+++++ I don't need to mod the data files becasue I can influence the hard code on the beta forums.
M++++ I maintain a major modpack which addresses issues of game balance, AI behaviour and scientific realism. I spend hours evaluating damage / tonnage ratios in order to introduce new weapons, tech trees and ways of playing.
M+++ I do quite a bit of modding, but I don't make a big deal out of it. Once one of my suggestions/ bug reports got implemented in a patch.
M++ I have tinkered with the data files to put in some changes I wanted.
M+ I've done a shipset, but that's about as far as I'll go.
M I download and use other peoples' mods, but I can't be arsed to do one of my own.
M- I can't keep up with all these mods, I like the game as it is.
M-- Stop playing with it, it'll fall off.

Family / Relationships:
Fr++++ My child's first words were "Mineral planets are best!". I'm so proud.
Fr+++ I play SE4 at 3 in the morning when the baby wakes me up.

Fr+ I told him/ her I was into "roleplaying" and s/he seemed interested.
Fr My spouse doesn't play SE4, but doesn't mind me playing.

AI opinion:
A+++ The SEIV AI is a work of genius. With TDM and a few bonuses it provides all the challenge you could want. What's more, it keeps getting better.
A++ The ability to mod the AI makes it one of the best in the genre.
A+ The AI provides me with an interesting and challenging game.
A The AI is good enough, but you really need to be playing against humans.
A- The AI definitely needs work. Without multiplayer this game would suck.
A-- Are you kidding? My dog could play better than the AI.
A--- Are you kidding? My dog could code a better AI.

A* I am an AI. Your growth is astonishing.
A? I wouldn't know, I've only ever played multiplayer.


Sci-Fi:
Sf+++ I have modded SEIV to simulate the Trek/ B5/ SW/ other universe as accurately as possible. I want to be Darth Vader. Check out my website for more details.
Sf++ I have spent hours trawling scifi websites to find images for my ship sets.
Sf+ I like to play a trek/ SW/ B5/ other mod.
Sf Not bothered. I'll use a sci-fi shipset if the AI is good.
Sf- I avoid AI mods and shipsets if I can, I find they can restrict my roleplaying.
Sf-- Sci- fi mods are so boring. I prefer original, imaginative stuff.
