Here is the Scenario for this doomed Neutral race.
Extract it into the P&N directory you wish to play it under (P&N v2.3b reccommended, P&N 2.3 should still work)
I've included an "Advisor" based rundown of critical information so you know what the state of the empire is.
I've also generously included popup warnings which will remind you how much time you've got left till doomsday. (20, 10, 5 turns to go)
The overall goal of this scenario is for your Neutrals to retake the homesystem of Aquila.
You must wait out the Nova, then rebuild Aquila I, colonize it. Then you must build a ring or sphereworld around the remaining star in the system, to prevent a repeat of the catastrophe.
Once that is done, your race can settle back down into the introverted life of a Neutral, and everybody will live happily ever after
