When you do get Gold (or Deluxe), make sure to get the TDM modpack. It's a mod that alters only the AI files, making them way way more difficult that stock AI's. You probably won't run over them nearly as fast
Sorry, I don't have a link for it right now, but when you get Gold, you should make sure you get the TDM modpack too, if you want a single player challenge.
