I have been watching this show for to long to stop now, I have to see the end of the story. This season or the next will be the last, but I am all for them going for a few more seasons. Once they hit ten it will be the longest running scifi show ever beating X-Files. At I think 11 seasons it will be the longest running show ever besides game shows and things of that sort, news, game show, etc.

Not so.
M*A*S*H ran for 11 years. And
Bonanza ran for 14 years. The all-time record holder, though, is
Gunsmoke at 20 years.

At 20 years and 633 episodes, the longest-running American prime-time drama TV series to date. (2003)
(And James Arness holds the record for playing the longest single role as the star of that series, Marshall Dillon.)
I wouldn't be surprised to see
The Simpsons hit 20 years, though. It's already the longest running animated series at 16 years.
