Yeah, it's hard to find a sizable group of players that are both dedicated to not missing turns and won't give up after their first serious setback. A notable exception was my very first PBW game, where everyone was required to express their dedication by paying a $20 entry fee to the Race to SEV Tournament. Missed turns were few and far between in general, and the quite small number of dropouts were replaced quickly. If you're willing to settle for 1-on-1, notify Alneyan (
this thread would be a good place) that you'd like to join the
King of the Hill League, and you'll be set up with an opponent in fairly short order. Otherwise, expect dropouts, try to find or make a particularly interesting game, set up your own tournament, or just give up and don't play.
