Nah AT, I'm just trying to build thermite, a mixture of iron oxide (rust) and aluminum. It is used in commercial welding mostly. However, it's also really neat, it'll burn through solid steel. Way way too expensive. I'm not gonna spend $90 on 25 grams of the stuff, even though it would last forever. I just don't have that kind of cash lying around.
So no, explosives aren't what I'm looking to make, and it seems like I won't be making anything at all. At least not for a long while.
