Just curious, where do the fractions come from? Random skills?
Yes they come from the random skills. Although at this point I do have to confess. For the 1st few mages I was rigorous with the calculation of the cost of random skills. After that I think I gave them a fixed cost depending upon the number of skills the mage had so I could be off by a couple of gold in some cases but no more than 5 (I tested the estimate vs. a true calculation a few times and it was decent).

What do those numbers mean exactly?
The numbers show how much you are paying for the chasis of your mages. For example if you could buy a High Seraph without magic he would cost -55 gold! Or if you could buy a Lizard King without the 4 holy he would cost 130 gold. Those are two examples which are a little out of wack. You could also buy a Nifel Jarl for 240, which would be a decent deal, or you could buy Sidhe Lord for 120, another interesting deal.
