Nope - XM-8 Buford MGS was supposed to be light airborne "tank".
M-8 Buford MGS
M-1128 MGS is "just" a Stryker apc with 105 mm gun.
Too bad US killed XM-8 project
. It was far better than Stryker MGS will ever be. Better mobility, better armor...
