I've been working on a scenario for three days, a lot of hours and saving as I go.

I did a final save, zipped it, and then saved the zip in two places.

I decided to test it, and when I opened the game, IT WAS NOT THERE, just the default screen. Text file is there, CMT tile is there, but the SPscn...dat file is empty.

By that what I mean is that the default screen shows up. This means that I saved the default screen. But how could that happen. It was not on the default screen when I save it?

I've done many scenarios in my time but I've never had anything like this happen. What could it possibly be? Any ideas?

Dozens of hours wasted. It is nowhere to be found.

The DAT file is not there at all, or is there but 0 size in the scenarios folder?

What is its size in the ZIP file itself?.

If it "was there for 3 days" then it was saving properly (as you could go in and edit it !.

The real quesion is probably then "where did the DAT file go?".. I have never seen anything like that, so my initial guess is probably a file-management problem? - did you maybe hit "delete" in Windows? - if so, it would be in your recycle bin, most likely - so have a look in there methinks, as a first check?.

The other thing with windows is an inadvertant drag and drop file move when something was selected - so you may have inadvertantly moved it out of that folder. Maybe search your hard drive for "scen*.dat" and see if any such are found in unexpected places?.

Cheers
