Yeah, it's nice to zoom in from space (or from someone else's house on another continent) and see where exactly the person is in their country.
Also, if you have the BBS markers switched on you can learn all about nearby places of interest. There are some beach-cams set up near my house, if you go in via google Earth.
Bearclaw - you ever notice that your town is shaped a lot like a map of the US and Central America? (View from about 14miles up) Why isn't Canada on there?
