Just wondering: is there anyone here who has heard of the Anstoss series? There are a couple of people from Germany here, so I guess it's as good a place as any to ask.

Anstoss is a football management series, at first released in several languages (as On the Ball in English and Carton Rouge in French, if memory serves), but from Anstoss 3 onwards, the games have only been made in German. The games seem to be more than obscure outside Germany: the Wikipedia doesn't mention Anstoss 4 or 5, and even the developer's site (Ascaron) doesn't mention Anstoss at all on the English side.

Still, the game seems to be rather popular in Germany, given the length of its entry on the German Wikipedia, and the number of websites dedicated to it... but I really wish there was *something* in English about the game, since my German isn't exactly stellar and... Well, does anyone else here know about these games?
