LOL, reminds me of my youth. I went to a military prep school in the southern part of the state where there was also a large Amish community. On weekends we’d go to the Amish farm market and goof around. Some of the Amish girls looked kinda cute in the black old time dresses and little hats, especially after being cooped up all week with 500 other guys…………….until they smiled.
It’s was always about that time that the male side of the family would show up, looking like the offensive line for a pro football team and smelling about like one too. Not to mention, looking upon us as heathen barbarians bent on deflowering their virgin daughters and sisters. Well I guess they were partly correct in their thinking. At any rate, I don’t think dentistry and personal hygiene products are big sellers with them. And they are more or less hold overs from the 1800's. So they tend to let you see what things were like back then.
