Just lost my (damaged)A0 (MACV Local HQ) to a misplaced COIN strike as I was trying to 'lean into' on a counter-attack from the pocket I had been forced into! Typical, as I felt I had started to contain the enemy into a definite area (all around me). I think this needs to be a case of "

If I remember correctly "Arc Light" is what I'd be begging for now, though given the historical basis re attacks on other bases/towns across Vietnam I would probably be at the bottom of the pecking list, plus flight times from Guam ...
