After years of No Trek, I remember watching the first episode of TNG (Encounter at Far Point) thinking "this better be worth the wait and my time." I was not disappointed! Even though I had a cousin who appeared in one episode of TOS (she was the Bridge Bimbo for that episode)
and watched it religiously, I'm sorry but TNG took it to another level!
