In the demo, I once got 2,000,000 experience points. But that was due to an as-of-then unresolved experience bug that would shoot you up to the max experience given the right conditions.
Actually, that may have been a classic game where that bug was still around, not sure...
However, my highest number of experience points aquired normally and fairly is 509,892 in the Return to Hell 2 PBW game. Turns haven't executed in about 2 months now, but I'm hoping this game isn't dead. I have about 5000 ships, a dozen sphereworlds, 120 or so colonies, a few thousand bases, large population, and a bunch more stuff I can't remember right now
