Well, there's a major issue with your image file for the ship. The alpha channel is pure white...so basically, your ship will have a huge black box around it any time that file is referenced for an image. Also, your silhouette file isn't right either. As for getting it to work, you need to change the game.ini to include the word "mots" under the HULLS section. If that doesn't fix it, try copying your ship info from the terran.ini and pasting it as the first entry of the ships that are listed. Seems like I had to do that to get my ISD to work as a starter ship even though the order shouldn't matter. I actually pasted mine above the Terran Frigate because that was the one I was replacing as the starter ship. I suspect fixing the game.ini will do the trick though.
