Come one come all! This is an interesting mod with lots of depth, very different from your stock game. You will have lots of interesting decisions for your ships on balance of armor and offensive capabilities: You can make expensive ships that last or cheap throw away vessels, and we'll have none of this sissy repairing your whole fleet after a fight thing... You have to use drones to do all of that... You will learn to live with low supplies and damaged ships, and how to fight with them.

So, if you are into the game for the fun of building up an empire...this one will really challenge you. My most thrilling game to date has been with this mod for the very reason that it was so bloody hard to conduct an extended campaign. In our last game I had a fleet that had over 40% average damage on its ships with less than 20% supplies go on the offensive and manage to land a crippling blow on an enemy homeworld after fighting through 2 enemy fleets to get there. THATS more like reality...THATS the Gritty Economics Mod. Try it, but be forewarned, once you play this all your stock games will seem like Childsplay.
