Default US LCAC Carry Capabilities.

I recently tried to load some US Marine Corps M1A1s onto some LCACs; and found that they were too heavy to load onto the LCACs.

Looking in MOBHack it seems that the default weight limitation is 40 tons; rather than the 70 tons in real life; is this a deliberate limitation by the OOB designer to prevent gamey use of the LCAC; eg using it as an uber landing craft over and over?

FYI, a LCAC can carry:

12 HMMWVs per sortie (48 tons at 4 tons each vehicle)
4 LAVs per sortie (56 tons at 14 tons each vehicle)
2 AAVs per sortie at (56 tons at 28 tons each vehicle)
1 M1A1 per sortie (67 tons)
