Upon reading the description of the spell it sounds like actual battles can occur with nasty independents... unfortunately it appears to just kill X amount of units.
And from all my experiences it's buggy and kills most if not all those using the spell.
Would be very interesting if nasty independents actually did fight your traveling army. Maybe we'll see this in Dominions_3.
