Nothings ever hopeless.
As I said, the player is in last place, but it's not that far behind the other human players, and we are all behind the AI. The idea is we are more or less cooperating against the AI, but it's not a strict team thing. It's more of a gotta have allies to survive thing. At some point if we can beat off the AI I fully expect the long knives to come out.
