I had thought that fatigue recovery might allow Sak to prevail, but the decided
lack of spell casting AI post-turn 5 also contributed to his death. (Earth Meld? Slime? Sheesh - it's why I would've gone melee after 5.)
I'd counter Panther's statement though - defense is superior to protection mostly in wyrmo-a-wyrmo, 1 on 1 battles, and even then only if you have the ability to overcome the protection.
Much lengthier battle this time though.
