Disciples, eh? Ever given Dominions a try?

Back on topic, I plan on buying GalCiv2 today (I would have yesterday but the GameStop near me hadn't received its shipment yet

) I might even start on making a GalCiv2 mod for SE4, or vice versa

It will be really easy to do the tripartite weapons/defenses of GalCiv2 in SE4:
* Beams skip armor.
* Cannons skip shields.
* Missiles skip armor and shields, but can be hit by point defense.
The real trick will be porting over GalCiv's economic system

But just imagine this: an SE4 mod for GalCiv2... where you can put your favorite SE4 components on a ship and have them actually show up on the ship!

Even if they are just eye candy
Oh, did anyone see these screenshots:

Don't those Terran ships look vaguely... familiar???
And this one here - "who needs Star Trek shipsets?"

Don't some of these victory conditions look familiar too? Especially that "5 researches to transcend mortal existence"??? Let's hope the REST of the game is not "inspired" by MOO3
