I believe Stargate is up to 9 seasons going on its 10th this summer.
I was rather put out by the way they rushed through the BSG final episode events. IT seemed like there was a lot more to see over the course of the last three episodes that we did not get to see. Time was rushed, and a lot of the story was lost with it.
