I found my Fire Dragon to be able to solo indies perfectly. There are a couple of dangerous ones, but not many can stand up to him. I don't know about you guys, but I found the nature dragon to be even more scary then the fire. Haven't played with any of the others.
I'll give it a whirl Wish.
