Pythium is among the weakest? Hmmm, I didn't realize that.
For base, I tend to go with an SC that has e4+ the blessing helps communicants survive battles, and earth is a good thing for SCs anyways.
Yeah, serpant cult is pretty tough... hydras just arn't very good, even with a good bless.
