The seeker gets the kill, so the seeker gets the experience, unfortunately, it died in the process
The downside of the "forget" part of "Fire & Forget"
To be fair, one of my fleets did have +13% experience at the start, and the missile ships had spreadfire strategies, while the Direct Fire ships had finish-them-off strategies. And it was a very target-rich environment
