Yes I once sent my bog mummy pretender via 'stygian paths' with a powerful army. The spell description says you might be attacked by forces from the underworld... and well I was looking forward to see if any unique creatures would attack. Needless to say there are no attacks... units and commanders are just killed without a fight. The spell is also bugged as the spell told me I had over 9 million units die.
I'm sure the spell has been tweaked somewhat, but if the spell description still says you can be attacked then an actual battle should happen instead of the game just killing units. Just never use this spell while playing Dominions_2.
