Well, I was born with some sort of...gills. Seriously. So I suppose that explains it.
And I was interested in getting an aquarium as a kid. But getting a nation of frogzards/illithidsis much better than an aquarium if you ask me.
It also has propably something to do with me listening a lot to the finnish band Stam1na and their song "Merestä Maalle" (From Sea to Land) lately.
And being a religious person myself, believe it or not, I find "Umor" convenient replacement for all the various God-expletives. Being a finn I swear more than I would really like to.
And it caters into my imago of a mad cultist.
