Default Demo Bug!

I have attempted to download the demo from every mirror out there. Unfortunately, for some reason, the demo won't install!! Every time I try to install it, it is caught by Windows and a screen specifies:

********************************
NSIS Error
Installer Verification Failed.

This could be a result of an incomplete download, a failing disk, or (possibly) corruption from a virus.

You can try to force an install using the /NCRC command line switch (but it is NOT recommended)
********************************

I have defragged, ran chkdsk, and even tried to re-download using different mirrors multiple times. Has anyone else had this problem recently? Or is it just me? I am hoping it isn't just me as that would mean there is something wrong with Windows (which is always a peach to fix...:P). I do not know how to use the NCRC switch, not that I would really feel safe if I did anyway. I have also ran every Anti-Malware utility I own all with up to date definitions. wtf?

I run a Dual-Core AMD system (I upgraded the processor within the last week) with 4GB of RAM and a 256MB GeForce 7600. I well exceed the minimum requirements....but is there a problem between the installer program and my recently installed Dual-Core processor?
