If only that were true. North American Free Trade Agreement is subject to tariffs and duties whenever one side feels like it. Take a look at how the US decided to screw Canada over with our US exports, such as lumber and beef recently. NAFTA is meaningless, since it's violated whenever either side wants to. Duties and tariffs are charged all the time when it shouldn't be.

Maybe for industrial-scale stuff like that, but I've ordered retail goods from Canada before - including PC software - and never had any duty charged.
