If the game was started with a master password then there might be some options for you.
For some reason the password for your god is better encrypted than the serial key for the game. 
Ive been able to get the password and fix some players games but only by brute force (trial and error) and its usually more trouble than its worth. Now I always put master passwords on any game I start.
