I guess I'll join the party.
I'm Michael, 34, from Germany, have worked some years for gaming magazines and later switched to online community management/development (been doing this for over a decade now). A few years ago, Gandalf Parker's posts about Dominions on Usenet roused my curiosity about the game, but when I picked up D2 when it came out, I didn't have enough free time to dedicate to the game. Today I finally got my copy of D3, and I've spent most of the afternoon reading the manual and playing the tutorial -- and I can feel the addiction creeping all over me and my spare time already.
