What are the details of your system? Motherboard, CPU, OS, type of mouse, etc? Send all the particulars in to MM. I've got Win98 running on an Asus A7V133 with an AMD Duron and I've never had any mouse freezes. In fact, I've got nearly the opposite problem because I often have trouble clicking on what I want to click on...
I think that's got something to do with MM's interface design.
