I played City of Heroes. It took a year to make level 50, so clearly I wasn't playing full time. Also until the end I avoided powerlevelling. At the end I guess I lost interest in grinding the same missions, but oh I wanted to "win" by making level 50

I have never played CoV and I quit because I thought D&D online was coming. I did get DDO, but because of a bank issue I couldn't play past the free 10 days.
I don't mind the cost per month of MMPORPGs. It's about the cost I would pay for a large novel that would last about 3 days to read.
